We believe that therapists have a unique opportunity to be change agents in the Black community, by improving their interactions with Black patients, specifically Black women they can reduce cultural stigma around mental ilness and treatment. We ensure that our therapists understand the importance of Black mamas history with healthcare in the United States and also our history as it relates to mental health. We require all of our therapists to be culturally competent. That means they have an understanding of your background and can serve Black mamas.
